KFC Birthplace

On our way home from Georgia, our dog Joey had to go to the bathroom, so I pulled off into this little town called Corbin, KY. Little did I know that this was the town where Colonel Sanders first opened a restaurant debuting his famous fried chicken. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stop at the birthplace of KFC. Anyway, we stopped used there bathroom, bought some chicken, had a good laugh, and went home. Just in case anyone was wondering, Corbin is only an hour and a half from our house (just in case you want to visit – you can see two great places in one trip).
