Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week. Ah, props to MckMama for advocating such brutal honesty. You really should check her blog out, but be warned, you will be addicted. And I refuse to take the blame ... well, I will actually, but you're on your own once you're addicted. Join us, won't you? Here goes...
This week, I did NOT eat an entire tin of Altoids dark chocolate peppermint mints. They did NOT taste exactly like Junior Mints, which is why I did NOT polish those jewels off in a matter of minutes. And I certainly did NOT tell myself it was in the name of *fresh breath.*
While changing one of Addie's MANY blowouts this week, I decided to give her a quick *bath* in the sink. She most certainly did NOT pee all down my pants leg while in route. And I did NOT promptly remove the offending pants and finish bathing and dressing ... pantless. Nope! I also am NOT totally grossed out by changing dirty diapers. I am a mom, after all.
I did NOT wear the same sweater three days in a row. And it certainly was NOT until the third day of wear that I realized this ... if it had actually happened.
Date night was NOT almost completely ruined Friday night. It did NOT start out with us driving to two separate restaurants, only to leave because of incredibly long waits. We did NOT give up and settle for Chili's. We did NOT have to rush through dinner to get home because we left Addie with the sitter and she refuses to take a bottle.
To demonstrate my awesome parenting skills, I did NOT put on the "move it" music video in Madagascar and dance like a mad woman -- just to see Juliana dance. I would NOT lower myself to such humiliating behavior.
Finally, I did NOT put off going to the grocery store one day, simply because I would have to put on make-up and change out of my sweats. What kind of lazy slob would I be? Good thing I do NOT think like that.
So, whether you blog about it or just talk about, what crazy things have you NOT done or thought this week?
